Your first creators decide how your programme looks to everyone after them. Start with people who already know your product, then widen out.
Your customers first
People who already use your product make the most believable content: they know the real problems it solves and can show it working on their own work. Look for customers who post about their work, run a newsletter, teach, or answer questions in your community, and invite them by email from Invitations. You don't need them to have an account here first.
Your page in the marketplace
Creators browsing the marketplace see your page: the pitch, the description, the reward, the cookie window, where you sell, how they may promote you, your FAQs and your resources. Write it for a creator deciding in a few seconds:
- One line on what your product does and who for.
- What makes it easy to show: a free plan, a trial, a visible result.
- Answers to the questions creators ask: what they may say, what they may not, how fast you approve.
Applications
Ask up to 8 questions when creators apply, about where they post and who watches. Keep it short: every extra question loses applicants. Auto-approve can take creators who meet your rules at once; anyone flagged still waits for you. Answer applications quickly, and when you decline, say why.
Invitations
Invite a creator by their handle, or anyone by email, into a group, with a message of your own. They see the reward before they join and can join without applying. Every invitation carries a way to stop invitations from you, and we honour it without telling you.
Resources
Give creators what they need to make something good: your logo and colours, screenshots, a short list of what to say and what not to, approved claims, and a demo account if your product needs data to look real. Mark each resource for members only or for everyone.
Groups for the creators who deliver
Put your best creators in a group with a higher reward or a better discount, or set a promotion that moves creators up when they reach a target. Being moved up is the best recruiting message there is.
