Cookie notice

Effective October 14, 2026

Famoka doesn't use cookies to track you. We set only what is needed to run the site and the things you ask for, so we don't show a cookie banner. This notice lists exactly what is set.

1. What we set

  1. Your session. When you sign in, we set a cookie called better-auth.session_token in your browser. It keeps you signed in on this device. It is set only after you sign in, belongs to famoka.com, and lasts up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
  2. Your sign-up choice. If you open the creator or brand sign-up page, we set a cookie called join_path that remembers which one you chose, so that signing in by the link in your email brings you back to the right place. It lasts 7 days and is removed when your account is created.
  3. A draft of your sign-up answers. While you fill in the sign-up steps we keep your answers in your browser's session storage so a refresh doesn't lose them. They are never your agreement to terms. The browser clears them when you close the tab.
  4. The bot check. Forms that send you an email ask your browser to solve a small puzzle first, to tell people from bots. The puzzle comes from our own servers and your browser solves it in about a second. It sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser and sends nothing to anyone else.

2. What we don't set

  • No analytics cookies. We count visits without cookies or anything stored in your browser, and without recording who you are.
  • No advertising cookies and no social-media trackers.
  • No third-party cookies of our own.

3. Why there is no banner

The rules that require consent for cookies and similar technology make an exception for what is strictly necessary to give you a service you asked for: keeping you signed in, remembering a choice you made, and protecting forms from bots. If we ever add anything that isn't strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first, and update this notice.

4. Other sites

When you follow a creator's tracked link to a brand's store, the brand, or the network it works with, may set its own cookies on its own site. Their notices explain what they set. We don't control them.

5. Your control

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you won't be able to stay signed in. To ask us anything: [email protected].
