A programme records nothing until tracking is connected, and creators can only earn from what it records. Connect it, test it, then invite anyone.
Software on Stripe Billing
If you bill through Stripe, connect our Stripe app from the Tracking page, which lists the sources open to you. It reads checkouts, payments, refunds and disputes as they happen, so every subscription payment a creator brought counts without code on your side. Creators' discount codes become Stripe promotion codes, and a payment made with one counts for its creator.
Any other billing: the script and the server API
- The script goes on your site. It keeps the click a creator's link brings and reports signups and orders from the browser, only from your own domains.
- The server API reports orders, refunds, signups and other leads from your servers, with a secret key. Reports from your server win over the browser's for the same order.
- Use both if you can: the script catches the click, your server confirms the money.
Test before you go live
The Test page gives you test links and test keys. Click a test link, sign up or buy on your site, and watch the report arrive and match the click. Test reports are priced like real ones so you can see what a creator would earn, but they never make a sale, bill you or pay anyone. A report matched end to end marks your tracking verified, which your programme needs before it can be listed.
What creators see
Creators see their clicks, and each sale or signup you report with its status. They never see your customers' names or details: we keep customer references only as a code we can't reverse.
Keep it healthy
The Tracking page shows when each source last reported and warns you if reports stop. If tracking breaks, creators keep earning on what was recorded, and your programme can pause until it's fixed, so check it after changes to your checkout.
